Summer Checklist

 1. Explore the First-Year Engineering Office website. 

 2. Create your online identity.

 3. Send in your final transcript and check your application status.

 4.  Apply for government student loans/OSAP (optional).

 5.  Get your OneCard (student ID).

 6.  Register for Engineering Boost Program (optional).

 7.  Sign up for Engineering Summer Pre-Orientation events (optional).

 8.  Check your fall schedule in August and enroll in your Liberal Studies course (optional).

 9.  Get connected to Frosh Week and attend Orientation events.

The First-Year Engineering Office (FYEO) handles all academic and administrative matters associated with your first year of engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University. We are your ultimate first-year resource! Our mission is to help make your transition from high school to university a smooth, pleasant, and successful one. To do this, we provide student-oriented services, including our extensive offering of orientation events that begin in the summer and run right into the fall term. We also offer customized first-year engineering supports like tutoring, study groups, study halls, personalized study plans depending on your needs, and much more!
